Gigasept® AF Forte is a combined cleaning and disinfection agent for instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes, aldehyde-free. It is a concentrated and very economical agent. The agent cleans and disinfects medical and beauty salon instruments made of plastic, metal, glass, porcelain, synthetic materials, rubber. Suitable for use as a pre-wash for instruments before machine disinfection. Gigasept® AF Forte is also used in ultrasonic baths.
Instructions for use Gigasept® instru AF is a concentrated agent that is diluted with cold water. The concentration of working solutions used is from 1.5% to 4%. 1 liter of 3% working solution is prepared as follows: 30 ml of Gigasept® instru AF concentrate should be added to 970 ml of water. Soak used instruments in the prepared Gasept® instru AF working solution. Make sure that all surfaces and cavities of the instrument are immersed in the solution. After the required contact time, rinse the instruments thoroughly under running water. Always follow the recommendations of the instrument manufacturer on how to wash and disinfect them. The shelf life of the prepared working solution is 7 days. Gigasept® instru AF is suitable for use in ultrasonic baths. Studies have shown that the cleaning properties of Gigasept® instru AF become apparent after a few seconds. The working solution must not exceed 40 °C.

Spectrum of activity: Bactericidal (incl. MRSA), fungicidal, tuberculocidal, limited virucidal efficacy (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV), rotavirus. Listing: BfArM Approval No. 6281157.00.00, VAH.Cutasept F active ingredient: Propane-2-ol. Composition of 100 g solution: Active ingredient 63.0 g propane-2-ol, corresponding to 72% vol. Other ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride, purified water. Areas of application: Skin disinfection before punctures, injections and surgical operations. Surgical and hygienic hand disinfection. Where not to use: Do not apply in the immediate proximity of the eyes. Intolerance to ingredients. If applied properly, Cutasept F can be used when pregnant or breastfeeding. Side effects: Slight, scattered skin irritations are common. May produce an allergic reaction. Warning: Has not been sufficiently tested as a treatment for infants and small children. In these cases, this product may only be applied after stringent diagnosis and under medical supervision. Benzalkonium chloride may cause skin irritation. Do not apply to the skin beneath exsanguination cuffs. Do not apply surgical film until dry. Wait until dry before using electrical devices. Avoid accumulation on patient beds/seats. Do not expose to naked flame. Keep clear of ignition sources. There are no fire or explosion hazards associated with the proper use of this product. If the solution comes into contact with eyes, hold the eyes open and rinse with running water for several minutes. After spillage of the disinfectant, the following steps should be taken: Soak up the spilt liquid straight away, dilute with copious amounts of water, ventilate the room and remove ignition sources. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21 °C. Flammable. Refilling may only be performed under aseptic (clean bench) conditions.
